The worship team and I will be heading out to a Chinese Christian Union Church (CCUC) college retreat starting tomorrow. One of the encouraging things about working on a college campus is being connected to so many people. Once students graduate and go to various places around the world, there is an instant network that is formed.
One of our previous members in HMCC invited us to come and minister in their church. The mother church of CCUC was started back in 1903 and it is located right in the heart of Chinatown in Chicago. It is a great privilege to be a part of this church’s history.
It is going to be an awesome time of building relationships and challenging students to live sold out lives for the Gospel.
Then on Monday, Pastor Andrew and I will be heading out to Dallas for a conference. I was invited to a gathering of Asian-American pastors who are leading multi-ethnic church. It is sponsored by Leadership Network and L2 Foundation. It’s going to be a blast connecting with innovators and church leaders from around the States. I can’t wait to share about some of the lessons learned from my experience in Dallas.
