There is just one day left before the start of the AMI Revolution conference. This year’s theme will be “The Call.” I am looking forward to sharing on the 2nd night. I will be talking about “The Transformative Call.”
The Revolution Conference started back in 2005 as part of the intensive training for the students going on summer missions program in the AMI churches. But now it has developed into a conference to motivate and mobilize college students across the United States for world missions.
This year Grace Covenant Church in Philadelphia will be hosting the conference. I want to give a big shout out to Pastor Young and the rest of his staff for all the hard work in getting this conference ready.
It is going to be an exciting conference. We are going to have several hundred students gathering together to run hard after the heart of God. We are praying for a “revolution” to happen like the one we read about at the turn of the 20th century with the Student Volunteer Movement. But instead of just a missions movement to spread the Gospel, we want to see a missions movement that will plant churches to build God’s Kingdom.
