It’s been great hanging out with the guys at HMCC of Chicago. Now, we are finally united in the theme for this 2008-2009 year of “Radical Love… Radical Lives.” We are praying that as we experience God’s radical love that we will be able to express our love by radically living our lives for Christ.
I am realizing that sometimes on these visits to various churches my role is more of an encourager, exhorter and educator. As I meet up with the leaders, I am teaching them principles and also reminding them of principles that they have learned in the past. Most of all, I am just encouraging them to press on in their calling to love and serve the Body of Christ.
I still have a couple meetings left before I head back to AA. I can’t wait to reunite with the family again and spend some time with them.
A midnight snack? Did I mention that it was about 2:30AM! We have to pray for these brothers
