Series of All Series

If you haven’t checked out our Naked sermon series website yet, then you can click here first.

There is about a week left before we start this new sermon series on March 11th. We have been diligently trying to prepare for this series. For some reason, as we were planning out the sermon series for the whole year, we just felt like this series was really going to help our church see a breakthrough.

Some of the topics will not be easy to talk about, but it is necessary. There are a lot of people in the Church today that are living in bondage to addictions and shame. This hinders people from truly coming into the marvelous light and experiencing true freedom in Christ.

I want to encourage everyone to do 3 things:

1) Pray for this 4-part series. The spiritual battle will intense for us individually and as well as a church. We cannot forget that so many Christians have been hindered in loving God and doing His will due to all the shame and guilt. This is exactly where Satan wants us to be – ineffective, immobilized, and indifferent. We need some prayer warriors to rise up and pray for God’s protection and covering.

2) Invite your friends and co-workers. The issues that we are going to talk about affect all people regardless if you are a believer or not. I feel like this series will paint a picture of what it could be like to be free. People will see that the freedom can only come through the cross which has broken the curse of sin and death. Once people understand God’s love, mercy and forgiveness, they will be able to walk in the Light. Don’t miss this opportunity to share the greatness of God’s love and mercy.

3) Check out the testimonies on the website. There is something powerful about testimonies. It helps us to see that we are not alone in our experiences but also that there is hope in our situation. God has delivered and set many people free from their issues, therefore it gives us a glimpse of what could happen to us. I want to encourage you to read through the testimonies and be encouraged. Also, it will encourage so many other people if you would share a testimony of God’s love and mercy through some of the struggles and trials that you have gone through in the past.

“This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God” (John 3:19-21).
