I guess one of the ways to stop me from blogging so frequently is to cut off internet access 🙂 It has been hard to get internet connection (I need one of those internet PC cards) and also the conference has been busy. I am finally at a Panera Bread and writing up this post.
Thursday night we had Pastor Young share about “Heroes” and how God has created us to do great things. I shared on Friday night about needing God’s anointing and God’s assignment to do His ministry. Then Pastor Victor closed out with sharing about understanding that due to the fact that God is our Father we are able to be prophet.
In the mornings we had Dr. Clinton Arnold do expositions from the book of Ephesians. It was probably one of the best expositions I have heard on the book. It is hard to find seminary professors or theologians for that matter who have a balanced view about the spiritual gifts.
We closed out the conference by licensing Pastor Jimmy and Pastor Barry (from Church of Southland). We also ordained Pastor Ben. It was encouraging to see the importance of commissioning these brothers in front of the whole AMI community. I am a firm believer that commissioning should be done publicly in the community of faith.
Most of the HMCC guys will be catching the red-eye back to AA. I think we are scheduled to arrive at 5AM… it is going to be crazy… but worth it, especially seeing so many of the AMI members getting blessed.
