I am excited about Dr. Steve and his family coming to Ann Arbor this weekend. It is hard to believe that we have known each other since 8th grade. Over the years we have strengthened our relationship through various key moments in life. We not only served in the same praise band called Alpha Omega, but we also room together in college (our bathroom was disgusting).
It was great sending a missions team from our church out to Kenya to witness everything that God was doing though Steve and his ministry. He is one of the first ones amongst our peers that actually went out of the country to do missions. There have been so many people from our generation who have “talked” about going on missions but he actually did it.
I can’t wait until he challenges our church to live radical for God’s Kingdom and His purposes. It is going to be a great weekend.
